MUUV Alignment script for After Effects

Yet, many find the built-in alignment tools in After Effects to be lacking and difficult to work with.

Introducing - a tool designed to simplify the alignment process, though it doesn't always meet expectations. In this article, we'll explore the limitations of After Effects' built-in alignment tools and how our custom align script has greatly improved our workflow.

The Limitations of After Effects' Align Tool

  1. Inconsistent Results: When trying to distribute the layers evenly, it doesn't always work as expected.

  2. Limited Options: You are unable to choose which layer you want the other layers to align to.

  3. Cumbersome Workflow: Having to navigate through numerous menus and dialog boxes in order to access the Align Tool can disrupt the workflow, especially when working on projects with tight deadlines.
